LGV HGV & PCV Driver Training

Tockwith Training Services was established in 1971 on a disused World War Two Airfield at Tockwith and today located just outside York in North Yorkshire at Hessay on our 9 acre site comprising of our own private reversing area for practising test manoeuvres, with classroom facilities and new buildings for Health & Safety training courses and a vehicle maintenance workshop.

Why Choose Tockwith Training?
Choosing a driving school is an important decision for many aspiring professional LGV and PCV drivers, getting it wrong can be very expensive and time consuming. There is always a consideration to be made between the different cost factors associated with driver training; other driving schools can get this equation wrong and may provide driver training courses that are too short for the candidate to be successful, poor vehicles and poor instructors. We strive to offer a high quality learning environment for a competitive price, making it much more likely that trainees will pass their LGV or PCV driving test at the 1st attempt. When comparing our services and course costs with other companies look carefully at how many driving hours of training you will actually receive, not watching or waiting for another trainee.

Unlike most driving schools we won’t be saying on every page the ‘we are the best’ but we hope that after looking through this website you will agree that we offer a high quality service that is unlikely to be surpassed by any other.
