All Tockwith Training CPC courses will not involve a test or an exam, they will be structured to take place in a training room or hands on sessions in our training area/site. Our aim is not to teach you or your drivers how to drive but to reduce their workplace health and safety risks, ensure they are compliant with the law and improve their working techiques.

• The responsibilities of the driver during a pre-use visual inspection of their vehicle
• How to check around the vehicle and complete a nil defect sheet
• How to report a vehicle defect
• Health and Safety of the driver
• Advice to drivers on how to avoid Trips, Slips and Falls
Advice to drivers how to apply safe manual handling techiques
• Advice to drivers on what Personal Protective Equipment they should wear.
Course are approved by Jaupt for both PCV and LGV drivers and are written by Tockwith Training using our many years of knowledge and experience of the industry to provide a course that is well structured and will be of benefit to all large vehicle drivers.
