Tockwith Training Services was established in 1971 on a disused World War Two Airfield at Tockwith and today located just outside York in North Yorkshire at Hessay on our 9 acre site comprising of our own private reversing area for practising test manoeuvres. A modern well equipped classroom and purpose built new buildings for Health & Safety Recognised Lift Truck training courses and a vehicle maintenance workshop. Choosing a driving school is an important decision for many aspiring professional LGV, PCV & Forklift drivers, getting it wrong can be very expensive and time consuming. There is always a consideration to be made between the different cost factors associated with driver training; other driving schools can get this equation wrong and may provide driver training courses that are too short for the candidate to be successful, poor vehicles and poor instructors.
