I returned home Thursday last week a happy man after passing my C+E test at the first attempt. I would like to offer a big thankyou to Stuart for his excellent training techiques and patience. It is very helpful when your instructor has confidence in you. I doubted my own ability to pass first time. Until now I have never passed a driving test at the 1st attempt.
A big thank you to Stuart and congrats to all at Tockwith for your professionalism.

Just like to say many thanks to the way my training was conducted and for the last three days, just passed my coach test 1st time on 11 of September 2007. Andy whom I did my training with is a credit to you and your company. Brilliant training area as well, to everyone at TTS many thanks regards Paul Treen, Whitby.

Dear Mike and Lorraine,
I am writing to thank you all at TTS for the great time I had last week training for my PCV D test which resulted in a first time pass on Thursday. Andy was a superb instructor with a keen eye for detail. He was very encouraging and always explained clearly how to deal with particularly difficult or tight junctions which really boosted my confidence in handling the vehicle. The whole team at Tockwith was friendly, with no "them and us" divide between trainers and trainees. Meeting up for tea and coffee gave time for some light hearted banter, providing a welcome relaxation between the necessarily intensive and focused driving sessions.
You have a company to be proud of and I wish you all well for the future.
I had just one disappointment - having to give you the coach back at the end of the week!!

I'm writing to say a big thankyou to everyone at Tockwith Training. Having recently completed my LGV category C with a first time pass I couldn't be happier. From start to finish everyone at Tockwith has been so helpful, friendly and supportive. I would like to thank all the instructors for making me feel so at ease, I will be eternally grateful for all their advice and support on my test day, when I was feeling a little nervous to say the least!
Special thanks go to Laurie and Andy, my instructors. Both were extremely patient and encouraging throughout the week. Without them I feel sure I would have never passed before the changes in July and the thought of having to adjust to a new vehicle was daunting... Their unwavering belief in my abilities made me so much more positive about taking my test.
I would definitely recommend Tockwith Training to others, and I know many people who like me will need to pass a test to drive horseboxes. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire week, drank lots and lots of tea and met some really nice people! I am looking forward to going out and driving my horses to competitions and perhaps returning one day to do my class 1 artic!!

I would like to say thank you to your company for the excellent training that I received last week from Ian Shaw for getting me through my test on 9/3/07 and would definitely recommend you to anyone.

Many thanks for the photo taken after successfully passing my class C test on 23rd February. It was a great feeling to let the Volvo I trained in retire on a high note with a first time pass; it was a fantastic truck to drive.
Everyone at Tockwith went out of their way to help me with my course from my initial assessment up to the training and test, but a very special thanks must go to my instructor Eddie, who's mix of professionalism, humour and unending patience got me through after one week.
I can throughly recommend Tockwith's policy of one-to-one instruction as I would not have passed otherwise. With one instructor concentrating on my driving for a whole day I felt I was really making progress, and this made a huge difference to the speed at which I could develop.
I will definitely recommend Tockwith to anyone asking about LGV Training, and hope to return for class 1 in due course after I've gained some experience in class 2 vehicles - then I can turn the rest of Eddie's hair grey!
All the best!

I came to Tockwith Training having passed my LGV C test with another provider, attracted by the prospect of doing my C+E training in an artic with a range change gearbox, rather than a rigid and trailer. I felt this would give me a much better start for the trucks I wanted to drive in the future. The training given was 1st class, the training vehicle was excellent and the one-to-one tuition worked very well. I enjoyed every minute of the training and passed my test 1st time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tockwith Training to anyone.

I am writing to thank you and your staff in assisting me in passing my Class C+E practical test at the first attempt. This was achieved after only 3 days of training.
Special thanks must be given to instructor Andy Parker for his approach to teaching and for the mountain of knowledge he passed on to me so successfully in a short space of time. He is a valuable asset to Tockwith Training Services.
I will not hesitate in recommending your services to other future truckers.

Just quick note to say thankyou and all your team for my PCV course last week.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with you all, including some of the 'scary' moments which I won't go into much detail about.
Can you please pass on my good wishes to all of the team but particularly to my individual trainer, Andy for his patience with me and his sheer professionalism. On Monday evening last I reflected that there was no way that I would be ready to take my test on Friday but with Andy's teaching skills and his belief in my abilities I did make the seemingly impossible happen and I came away with my PCV D licence.

I would just like to say how pleased I am at passing first time on my C+E licence, taken on 14th December 2005 with yourselves. I also sat my C licence nearly 3 years ago with yourselves and again passed 1st time. I think that the level of training your company offers is excellent, and I would like to thank Stuart for his first class training techniques!
Once again, thank you! I will recommend your services to anyone I know looking to take their LGV/PCV licence.

Dear Mike and Lorraine
Just like to say a big thankyou to your training services, and your excellent instructors who helped me through my PCV, and I passed 1st time, last week 27th of May. The training was excellent, very thorough, and I will tell people about your training services, who are wanting to do training. It was well worth travelling, it was 100 miles from my home to your yard stayed local at York. It was well worth the distance. Once again thankyou so much.

Dear Lorraine,
Could you please pass on my thanks to yourself, Mike and his staff for giving me the tuition which resulted in me getting my Bus Licence. It certainly pays to be taught by the best and I will pass on your services to future clients.
Once again many thanks for everything you have done for me. It has been a very enjoyable experience.

Dear Mike, Lorraine, Colin and Paul,
This is a belated thankyou for your guidance and advice during my PCV course with you back in August. I have now been driving for Ingleby's Coaches for nearly two months (where's that time gone?) and thought I must put pen to paper before Christmas arrives!
I am enjoying the job very much, getting used to the long hours and also to manoeuvring a coach through seemingly impossible situations!
Seriously though, thanks Mike for your practical and professional instruction - I still hear your words in my head when I meet certain situations. Thanks also for your recommendation to Chris Ingleby - he's very particular about his drivers so I count myself fortunate to have got a job with him.
Thanks also to you, Lorraine, for sorting the 'paperwork side', dealing with my ex-employers and booking test times, leaving me more time to concentrate on passing the tests!
Finally, Thanks to Colin and Paul for your instruction and advice in and out of the classroom - always relevant, often humorous and sometimes downright filthy!
Thanks to all, hope to see you around and about, and good luck in the future.

Dear Mike,
Many thanks for the professional tuition I received prior to the taking of my PSV driving test.
Professionalism, is not solely the imparting of technical skills or the standard of training equipment, but I believe, the way they are imparted is vital. My thanks go to yourself, for your patience and understanding throughout the instruction I received over the 20hrs, I spent with Driver Training Services.
I must congratulate you on your recruitment of your able instructors, Mick and Colin.
The responsibility of the bulk of my instruction lay with yourself, However, I must add my thanks to Mick, with whom I spent 4hrs under instruction, both informative and enjoyable. Thank you, Mick. To Colin who on my first morning was terribly handicapped with a cold, and yet he proceeded to give instruction in the classroom with determination and professionalism I associate with yourself and members of your staff.
I have no hesitation in recommending your services, and consider the fees paid, money well invested for the future.

Dear All,
Many thanks for your help and encouragement in passing my HGV 2 in what seemed such a short period.
To all the people who will read this, you are in the most capable hands while you learn. After taking lessons at various training groups I can say with a great deal of experience that the staff at Driver Training Service are the most professional instructors you could ever get. Their attitude and manner towards the pupil are a gift that very few people have.
Many thanks

Dear Michael, John and Tony
Thank you very much for all your efforts and patience during my recent course. Because of all your dedication and thorough professional instruction I was able to pass HGV Class 1 at first attempt. I was not only able to learn about driving but I learnt things about myself which I will never forget. My licence is a passport to a new life and I will always be grateful.
Many thanks Lads

Dear Mike and Tony,
Just a few lines to express my thanks for your expert training which enabled me to pass my HGV Class 1 in only 24 hours training. When I first started I thought it would be an impossible task, but everything just seemed to come together.
I'd especially like to thank Michael, who with his firm and reassuring manner gave me confidence.
I will highly recommend your driving school to everyone I meet.

Dear Mike
Many thanks indeed for patience in guiding me through my HGV 1 test which must give encouragement to all who find problems in reversing an articulated outfit.
Please pass on my appreciation to Tony, who will obviously take all credit for my pass as my early instructor and the fact that he took me on the morning of my test, and to Kevin for his friendly encouragement.
The true credit should go to Sally, who introduced a special flavour into the course which produced a satisfactory result - the two ham rolls.
I was impressed with your professional approach and can certainly recommend you as a most competent company.

I am writing to express my appreciation of your staff and training facilities, which enabled me to pass my H.G.V. Class One driving test at the first attempt after only 40 hours training.
The standard of instruction was excellent from all the training staff, and my special thanks to Tony for all his help and patience, especially on the manoevring area.
I look forward to seeing you all in the near future, and I shall certainly pass on my recommendation of yourselves to my colleagues and friends.
