For car drivers who passed their driving test after 1st January 1997 and wish to upgrade their licence to enable them to legally tow trailers with a rated capacity over 750kgs, we offer training on either the customers own vehicle, our vehicle or our trailer and your vehicle. Our vehicle is a Nissan Navara double cab pickup with a 10ft box trailer that meets the upgraded specifications for training vehicles 1st brought into service after 2003; flat trailers towed by 2003 and onwards registered vehicles are not accepted for test - new EU rules. The Navara handles very well on the road, a powerful 2.5 litre engine provides enough power for towing a trailer and the cabin is very car like. The 10ft box trailer is easy to steer both forward and backwards, and not any wider than a car. |
